Top Female Athletes Of The Decade: No. 9 Julia Beaver ?01

As a senior, she lost two matches during the regular season and then came back to beat both of those players in the national semifinal and final.
She began her career by becoming the first Ivy League female athlete to be named Ivy League Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year as a freshman. She also led Princeton to the national championship at the Howe Cup twice.
A three time Academic All-Ivy League selection, Beaver went on to medical school and is currently specializing in internal medicine.
