Tigers Finish in Top 10 at NCAAs

COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS (3/14/09) - Senior Alex Pessala and junior Justin Frick placed in the top 10 in their respective events at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championship at Gilliam Stadium at Texas A&M on Saturday, March 14.
Pessala took 10th in the weight throw with a throw of 20.32 meters (66' 8").
Frick placed ninth in the high jump, clearing 2.09 meters (6' 10.25").
Both earned All-America honors by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
The Tigers will spend spring break in Florida preparing for the 2009 outdoor season.
