Baseball Offense Unloads in 18-7 Win at North Carolina A&T

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- After two days of facing the nation's top pitching staff, the Princeton baseball team unloaded against North Carolina A&T with an 18-7 win on Thursday afternoon. Four of the first five in the Tiger lineup drove in three runs in the win.
Princeton's lineup accounted for 18 runs on 18 hits in the win. Senior Derek Beckman, senior Dan DeGeorge, sophomore Greg Van Horn and junior David Hale all drove in three runs in the win. Hale and DeGeorge each had three hits, with Hale homering in the win. Senior Adrian Turnham went 4 for 4 and sophomore Matt Connor had two hits and scored four runs.
Junior Langford Stuber pitched five innings for the Tigers to improve to 2-0 this season. He struck out six. Junior Ross Staine and freshman Stephen Elmore each pitched an inning.
Princeton improved to 4-4 with the win and visits Navy for a four-game series starting tomorrow.
