Men's Track Faces Stiff Competition at Navy

PHILADELPHIA (4/25/09) ? The Princeton men's track and field team wrapped up competition at the Penn Relays on Saturday, April 25 at Franklin Field.

Senior Alex Pessala was fourth in the championship hammer with a throw of 62.12 meters. Sophomore Craig Pearce was 11th with a throw of 54.67 meters.

Freshman David Slovenski also finished 11th, after clearing 4.90 meters in the championship pole vault.

The day finished with the 4x800 posting a time of 7:36.52 for 12th place.

The Tigers host the Elite Meet next Saturday, May 2 at Weaver Stadium.
