Women's Cross County Earns Spot in NCAA Championships

INDIANAPOLIS (11/14/10) - The Princeton women's cross country team has earned a place in the 2010 NCAA Championship it was announced by the NCAA Selection Commitee on Sunday, Nov. 14. The Tigers make the championship for the sixth straight season.
Princeton finished fourth at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional yesterday, behind national champion Villanova, Georgetown and host school Penn State. Their strong showings all season have boosted the Tigers into earning an at-large bid.
Princeton has finished fifth at the NCAA Championships the last two years and returns three of its scorers from that fifth-place team in 2009.
The championship will be held on Monday, Nov. 22 at the LaVern Gibson Championship Course in Terre Haute, Ind. The women's 6k will begin at 12:08 p.m.Tuesday, June 04
