Hoy Earns NSCAA Second-Team All-Region Honor
December 07, 2010 | Women's Soccer
Princeton sophomore Jen Hoy earned a place on the NSCAA second-team All-Mid-Atlantic Region in recognition of her team-best seven goals during the Tigers' 9-6-1 season in 2010.
Hoy was one of three Tigers on the second-team All-Ivy alongside classmates Caitlin Blosser and Alison Nabatoff. Hoy ranked No. 1 in the Ivy in game-winning goals with four, while her seven goals and 14 points ranked her third and fourth in the league in those categories, respectively.
The Tigers had one honoree in 2009 as well, as defender Melissa Seitz '10 was on the second team. In all, 33 players from across the Mid-Atlantic are honored annually over three all-region teams.
Princeton finished second in the Ivy League with a 4-2-1 record, just one point out of first place.
