Men's Track & Field Travels to California for Stanford Invite

PRINCETON, N.J. (3/25/10) - The Princeton men's track and field team will compete at the Stanford Invitational this weekend, March 26-27. Stanford will provide live scoring for fans to follow along, with a link provided above.
Competing in the 1500-meter run will be freshman Nathan Mathabane, sophomore Trevor Van Ackeren, and juniors Tony Salvatore and Kyle Soloff. There will be four sections running at 1:27, 6:46, 6:52 and 6:58.
Senior Elliot Welder will compete in his first steeplechase of the 2010 season beginning at 5:58.
The 5000-meter run follows beginning at 7:47 p.m. Sophomore Donn Cabral, Max Kaulbach, Joe Stilin and freshman James Webb will represent the Tigers in the event.
The final event on Friday will be the 10000-meter run at 9:36. Junior Rob Speare will tackle the race for Princeton.
On Saturday, freshmen Peter Callahan, Michael Palmisano and senior Jeff Carbonella will compete in the 800 at 1:54 p.m.
