Men's Track Hosts Quad Meet in the First of Two Saturday Home Meets

PRINCETON, N.J. (4/7/10) - The Princeton men's track and field team will host Penn, Rutgers and Villanova in a quad meet on Saturday, April 10 at Weaver Stadium.
The Tigers have hosted the non-scoring Quad Meet with these three teams every spring since 2006.
Last year, Princeton won seven events and return six of those winners.
Mike Eddy won the 400-meter dash, coming across the line at 48.14, while Tom Zozokos was the 400-meter hurdles champion with a winning time of 54.05.
In the throws Eric Plummer won the shot put reaching 16.62 meters and was a new personal best, while Joel Karacozoff was the discus champion with a throw of 45.69 meters.
Dion Lehman won the long jump, reaching 6.87, while Ian Fox cleared 2.07 the high jump, both season bests at that time.
The meet will be the first of two home meets on Saturday, as the women's team will host Penn and Yale following the men's meet.
