PRINCETON (6/29/10) - Five members of the Princeton field hockey team were recently named to the 2010-11 U.S. Women's National Team and Development Squad following the National Championships in Virginia Beach.

Katie and Julia Reinprecht, along with Ford were named to the National Team, while Sharkey and Cesan were named to the Developmental Squad. Katie Reinprecht and Ford were on the 2009-10 National Team and played in the World Cup Qualifier this past spring. Julia Reinprecht was on the 2009-10 Developmental Squad.

A total of 24 standouts were named to the Women's National Team, while 10 players were chosen for the Developmental Squad. The teams will begin training on July 6 in preparation for international road matches against Spain and England.
