2010-11 TigerCast Debut: Surace, McStravick and Shackford

Head football coach Bob Surace, women's volleyball co-captain Liz McStravick and women's soccer coach Julie Shackford join the first TigerCast of the 2010-11 Princeton athletics year.
Surace, who was named the 22nd head coach of Princeton football last December, will coach the first game at his alma mater Saturday when Princeton heads to Lehigh for a 12:30 start. Surace discusses the preseason, including the progress of Jordan Culbreath, and breaks down a talented and physical Lehigh team.
McStravick has helped the women's volleyball team to a 4-3 start, including a season-opening sweep at the Lafayette Tournament. This weekend presents a far greater challenge, as Princeton heads to Happy Valley to take on, among others, the three-time reigning NCAA champion Penn State Nittany Lions. McStravick looks ahead to the weekend and breaks down the early season.
Shackford, the veteran head coach of women's soccer, is riding a three-match win streak heading into the weekend, which begins Friday night at Roberts Stadium against LIU. She talks about a wild 6-3 win over James Madison Sunday, a tough LIU team and a sophomore class that is already making its mark in the Ivy League.
