September 21, 2010 | Men's Cross Country
NEW ORLEANS (9/21/10) - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released the national and regional rankings for week two, and Princeton's position on both the men and women's sides remain unchanged, holding down the No. 24 and No. 9 rankings, respectively.
Princeton is the only team in the Ivy League to be nationally ranked in the men's and women's poll.
The women's team remains No. 9 in the national poll. The Tigers took a week off of competition and will compete in the HYP on Friday, Sept. 24 at Yale. Princeton sits third in the Mid-Atlantic Region behind national No. 1 Villanova and No. 2 Georgetown.
The men's team maintains its No. 24 ranking in the national poll. The Tigers are in the middle of two-week reprieve of competition. The team will be back in action the first weekend in October with the Paul Short and Wisconsin Adidas Invitationals. The team also hangs on to its No. 2 billing in the Mid-Atlantic Region sandwiched between No. 1 Villanova and No. 3 Georgetown.
