Volleyball Earns Second Straight Sweep at Lafayette Invite

For its second straight match of the season, the Princeton women's volleyball team posted a 3-0 sweep, taking down St. Peter's 3-0 at the Lafayette Tournament. The Tigers easily won the first two games, 25-14 and 25-15, and won the third game 26-24
Sophomore outside hitter Lydia Rudnick was the team's ace again as she recorded 16 kills and added 13 digs and three service aces. Freshman hitter Chelsea Parker backed her up with 12 kills and 12 digs each. Junior defensive specialiat Hillary Ford led the team in digs with 16, while sophomore setter Molly Bagshaw had 14 digs and recorded a team-high 19 assists. Junior setter Michaela Venuti had 12 assists, while middle blockers Jennifer Palmquist and Liz McStravick had two total blocks apiece.
Princeton will take on Fairleigh Dickinson in the final match of the Lafyatte Tournament at 3 p.m., today.
