Men's Cross Country Breaks Into Top 10

The Princeton men's cross country team is ranked No. 9 in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) poll that was released on Tuesday, Oct. 18.
The Tigers are in the national top ten for the first time since 1998 moving up five spots from last week. Princeton got the boost due to its fourth-place finish at the Wisconsin Invitational, running against 21 nationally-ranked teams.
Princeton continues to be the top-ranked team in the Mid-Atlantic Region, leading Villanova and Georgetown.
Princeton will be training for the Ivy League Heptagonals, which will take place on the Tigers' home course, on Saturday, Oct. 29. Princeton is the defending Ivy League champion and has won Heps four times in the last five years.
