Owens Selected to Run for Team USA

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (12/19/11) - Freshman Eddie Owens of the Princeton men's cross country team has been selected to run on Team USA, it was announced by USA Track & Field on Friday, Dec. 16.
Owens is one of six American men that will race in the junior men's 6k race at selected to compete at the 2012 Bupa Great Edinburgh Cross Country International Challenge.
"I'm very pleased that Eddie has been selected to compete for Team USA in the upcoming International Meet in Scotland," head cross country coach Steve Dolan said. "It's quite an honor for Eddie and we are extremely proud to have a member of our team here at Princeton represent the United States in the competition."
The US will compete against teams from Great Britain, Northern Ireland and Europe on Jan. 7 at Holyrood Park in Edinburgh, Scotland.
