Men's Track & Field Travels to Two Meets This Saturday

PRINCETON, N.J. (4/6/11) - The Princeton men's track & field team will compete at two meets this Saturday, April 9.
Twelve distance runners will compete at the George Mason Spring Invitational at George Mason Stadium in Fairfax, Va., while the rest of the team competes at the Rutgers Invitational at Bauer Track & Field Complex in Piscataway, N.J.
This is the first time the Tigers have competed in the Rutgers Invitational since 2000 and the first time at George Mason since 1997.
Princeton won six events at the Sam Howell Invitational last weekend at Weaver Stadium. Senior George Abyad won both the shot put and discus, while freshman Tom Hopkins was a double winner with victories in the long jump and 100-meter dash. Senior Craig Pearce won the hammer throw and junior Donn Cabral won the steeplechase.
