Soloff '11 Named Volunteer Assistant Coach for Men's XC

PRINCETON, N.J. (8/31/11) - Kyle Soloff '11 has been named a volunteer assistant coach with the Princeton men's cross country team for the 2011 season.
Soloff competed in three NCAA Championships while wearing the Orange & Black. He ran in the 2010 NCAA Cross Country Championship and competed twice in the NCAA Track & Field Outdoor Championships as a national qualifier in the 5k. Soloff was a first-team All-Ivy League cross country runner in 2010, finishing sixth overall. He was a scorer in Heps track championships seven times, including being the runner-up four times in four different events (1,000, Mile, DMR and 4x8). In addition he was a key member of Princeton's 4xMile that won the Penn Relays in 2011.
Soloff helped the Tigers to six team titles (three in cross country, two indoor and one outdoor), culminating in Princeton recording a double triple crown during the 2010-11 season, becoming just the 10th school in the nation to do so.
A native of Rockaway, N.J., Soloff was a Milrose Games Runner-Up in the mile while at Morris Hills High School.
Soloff graduated in May with a degree in economics.
