PRINCETON, N.J. (9/19/11) - Senior Alex Banfich of the Princeton women's cross country team has been named the HepsTrack Women's Athlete of the Week.

Banfich won the annual HYP Meet on Saturday, Sept. 17 at Franklyn Park in Boston. She finished the 5k race in 17:33, six seconds ahead of the rest of the competition. It was Banfich's first race of the season.

The Tigers will next compete on Sept. 30 at the Paul Short Run and the Notre Dame Invitational.
