Men's Cross Country Team Headed to NCAA Championships

The Princeton men's cross country team has been selected as an at-large team to compete at the 2012 NCAA Cross Country Championships, it was announced by the selection committee on Friday, Nov. 9.
The Tigers are one of 13 at-large teams that were selected and will join the 18 automatic qualifying teams in Louisville, Ky., as they run for the national title on Saturday, Nov. 17 at Tom Sawyer State Park.
The men's race is set for 1:15 p.m. The NCAA will webcast the Championships on NCAA.com, from noon until 1:30 p.m.
Princeton will be making its third consecutive team appearance at the NCAAs and 13th overall. The Tigers had the best finish in program history in 2010, placing 12th. Last year the squad finished 19th.
Princeton is ranked No. 13 in the latest USTFCCCA national poll. The team has been ranked all season, earning it's highest ranking in week five, as they came in at 11th.
