Sharkey Earns Fourth Ivy Player of the Week Honor in 2012

Coming off the No. 2 Princeton field hockey team's eighth consecutive Ivy League championship, senior Kathleen Sharkey was tabbed Ivy Player of the Week for the second consecutive week. Sharkey has earned the weekly honor four times this year and nine times throughout her career.
Sharkey headlined the Tigers 7-0 rout of Penn on Nov. 3, tallying four goals. It was the third time this year the striker has scored four goals in a game and her eighth multi-goal performance of the season.
The goals and points per game national leader, Sharkey has scored 29 goals and made six assists for 64 points on the year.
Sharkey and the Tigers (16-1, 7-0 Ivy) are now preparing to face No. 13 Lafayette (17-1, 5-0 Patriot) today, Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 1 p.m. The game will be played at Columbia in New York City.
