Women's Cross Country Earns NCAA Bid

The Princeton women's cross country team earned an NCAA Championship bid as the selection committee met this afternoon.
Princeton is one of the 13 at-large teams that was selected by the NCAA committee. This will be the Tigers' first trip the NCAAs as a team since 2010 and ninth overall Princeton had a string of appearances from 2003-10 and have finished as high as fifth in both 2008 and 2009.
The Princeton men's team earned an automatic bid with its second-place finish at NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional. This is the 14th appearance by the men's team in the championship. The Tigers are coming off of a program-best 11th place finish from 2012.
The championship will be webstreamed on NCAA.org from noon to 1:30 pm. The men's race begins at noon with the women's race to follow at approximately 1:15 p.m.
