3: Penn had just three shots on goal compared to seven for Princeton, but the Quakers made the most of them, scoring on all three.

With no time to spare, Tyler Lussi became the highest-scoring Princeton freshman in more than 30 years, and the goal allowed senior Gabriella Guzman to walk off the field for the final time with one more point on an assist.

• Penn kept Princeton from recording back-to-back wins in the series, which happened for the last time in 2005 and 2006. The first of those wins was the last time Princeton won at Penn, as the Quakers have successfully defended their home turf against the Tigers on Princeton's last four visits. • Princeton's lead in the all-time series with the Quakers is now at 17-9-2. • The Quakers were out of the Ivy title race, but they were still playing for a potential NCAA at-large berth. Penn had a No. 43 RPI entering the week, tops in the Ivy. The league had five teams in the top 100, with Princeton checking in at No. 80. • With her two goals, Tyler Lussi made some Princeton rookie history, becoming the first Tiger freshman to reach 10 goals since Linda DeBoer '86 in 1982. She's just the third freshman to do so, with DeBoer getting 12 in her first season and Sue Mooney '85 getting 13 in her first season in 1981. • Gabriella Guzman's assist gave her a helper in back-to-back games, the first time that has happened for the senior this season and first since last October. • Junior Darcy Hargadon had her first appearance in goal since the Oct. 19 tie against Columbia at Roberts Stadium. A year after losing both of its primary goalkeepers to graduation, the Tigers will return more than 1,300 of their 1,618 minutes in goal this season between Hargadon and rookie Hannah Winner. • Lussi led Princeton in goals this season with 10, becoming the first freshman to lead Princeton in scoring since Jen Hoy '13 in 2009. • The Tigers can return 24 of their 27 goals next season, losing Erika Hoglund (two) and Gabriella Guzman (one) to graduation. Rookie Tyler Lussi (10) and junior Lauren Lazo (five) ended the season as Princeton's leading goal scorers. • Tyler Lussi had a seven-game scoreless stretch midseason but ended her campaign with a flourish, scoring four goals over the final three games. It was the first time this season Lussi scored in three straight games, and it was her third multi-goal game of the season, each of those with two scores.

Princeton's game at Penn Friday night marked the finale of the 2013 season.
