Hummer Heads to NBA Workouts ? Includes Photo Gallery
June 10, 2013 | Men's Basketball
Ian Hummer, the 2013 Ivy League Player of the Year, will take his pursuit of a professional NBA career on the road just a few days after receiving his Princeton degree.
Hummer's first workout was with the Phoenix Suns on June 7. He also worked out with the Golden State Warriors on June 14, followed by the Utah Jazz on June 17. Later this month, he is scheduled to work out for the Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings. The teams hold workouts not just in preparation for the NBA Draft, which will take place June 27, but also for the NBA's summer leagues, which are in July.
Hummer finished his Princeton career as the second-leading scorer in program history and as Princeton's first Ivy League Player of the Year in men's basketball since Brian Earl '99 in 1999.
GoPrincetonTigers.com will have updates on Hummer's workouts as they are available.
