NEWARK, Del. (9/14/13) - The Princeton men's cross country team started in a pack and finished that way as it took places 1-7 to earn a perfect score at the Delaware Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 14.
The 8k race was held at White Clay Creek State Park, marking the first meet of the 2013 for the Tigers.
Junior Sam Pons was the individual winner, running a 25 flat. A trio of seniors followed: Chris Bendtsen 2nd at 25:28.48, Tyler Udland 3rd at 25:28.88 and George Galasso 4th at 25:52.33. The final scorer was sophomore Sam Berger at 25:52.73. Freshman William Bertrand was sixth and sophomore Michael Sublette was seventh.
The Tigers resume competition on Friday, Oct. 4 at the Notre Dame Invitational.
