PRINCETON, N.J. (10/18/14) - The Princeton men's cross country team finished 13th at its home meet the Princeton Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 18 at West Windsor Fields.
The Tigers earned 362 points in the 8k championship race. Sophomore Jack Leahy led all Tigers with a 24th-place finish at 24:43. Junior Sam Berger was 48th at 25:06 and Garrett O'Toole was the top freshman runner, clocking a 25:17. Senior Bradley Paternostro and freshman Charlie Stahl both ran 25:44 as the final two scorers. Freshmen Rob Stone and Zach Albright were the 6 and 7 runners.
Villanova won the championship race with 45 points, followed by Virginia Tech with 71 and Penn with 139. It was Penn's Thomas Awad that claimed the invididual title with a 24 flat.
Four other Tigers competed in the open race with sophomore Stephen Rossettie leading the way with a 27:06.
Princeton hosts the Ivy League Heptagonal Championships on Saturday, Nov. 1.
