Curham Wins Individual Title; Women XC Take Second

PRINCETON, N.J. (11/1/14) - Sophomore Megan Curham handedly won the 2014 Ivy League Heptagonal Championship individual title, finishing four seconds in front of Dartmouth's Dana Giordano.
With a time of 20:24.3, Curham becomes the sixth Princeton Tiger to win the race joining Lynn Jennings (79), Laura Cattivaera (87), Emily Kroshus (03), Liz Costello (07, 08, 09) and Alex Banfich (10).
The Tigers finished in second place, 20 points back from Dartmouth, 47-67.
Sophomore Kathryn Fluehr and freshman Natalie Rathjen finished seventh and eighth at 20:58 and 21:01.7, respectively. Junior Maria Seykora and senior Lindsay Eysenbach were the final scorers at 21:28.4 and 21:29.8, taking 25th and 26th. Sophomore Katie Hanss and junior Erika Fluehr were the No. 6 and 7 runners for Princeton.
Following Princeton in third place was Columbia with 95, followed by Cornell with 108, Harvard with 119, Yale with 130, Brown with 153 and Penn with 178.
