Curham Earns Third All-America Honor in 18th-Place Finish

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (11/22/14) - Sophomore Megan Curham adds her third All-America to her repertoire with an 18th-place finish at the 2014 NCAA Cross Country Championships this afternoon on the LaVern Gibson course.
Curham was 34th a year ago to her earn first All-America honor as a Princeton student-athlete. She went on to take second-team All-America honors in the spring in the 10k.
At the 2k mark Curham was positioned 19th at 6:29.7. Her split at 4k was 6:51.4 moving up six places into 13th. In the final 2k she clocked 7:00.8 to finish 18th out of 251 athletes with a final time of 20:21.8.
Curham's finish is the best by a Princeton Tiger since Alex Banfich was fourth in 2011.
The rest of the women's cross country team will compete at the ECAC Championships at Van Cortlandt Park
