Princeton Third Behind Little's Fourth-Place Finish at ECACs

NEW YORK, N.Y. (11/22/14) - The Princeton women's cross country team finished third at the 2014 ECAC Championships today in Van Cortlandt Park to conclude the Tigers season.
Junior Kathrynn Little captured a fourth-place finish, running 18:00.7 on the 5k course. Sophomore Ally Markovich and junior Maria Seykora placed 14th and 17th, at 18:13 and 18:20, respectively. Senior Jackie Nicholas and freshman Melinda Renuart completed the scoring, cross in succession at 18:38 and 18:39.
Villanova's Stephanie Schappert was the top individual at 17:42.4 as her team was second, behind first-place Columbia.
Meanwhile in the Midwest, Megan Curham earned All-America honors with her 18th-place finish at the NCAA Championships.
Princeton raced without freshman Natalie Rathjen, junior Kathryn Fluehr and sophomore Lindsay Eysenbach, all of whom were scorers at Heps and Regionals.
