PRINCETON/MINNESOTA SERIES
Minnesota holds a 6-1-1 record in the all-time series with Princeton. The teams first met in 1995 when Minnesota was a club team and Princeton won 8-1. The teams then met five times when Minnesota was led by Princeton alum Laura Halldorson '85. Halldorson led the Golden Gophers to three national championships during her head coaching tenure (1997-2007). Minnesota was Princeton's opponent in the 2006 NCAA Tournament, when the Tigers made their only appearance, falling 4-0. Last year Minnesota swept Princeton in Minneapolis, 6-0 and 9-1.
