NEW ORLEANS (3/18/14) - Senior Michael Williams has earned Second-Team All-America honors it was announced the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Monday, March 17.

Williams captured the second-team honors by his 14th-place finish in the mile at the 2014 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships.

He is the fourth Tiger to earn All-America honors in the indoor mile, joining Bill Burke (1990 and 1991), David Nightingale (2007) and Peter Callahan (2012).

This is Williams' second All-America honor. He earned first-team honors in the distance medley relay last year when the relay won the national championship.
