With week #2 of the 2014 cross country season being a non-competition week for Princeton, we check in on national rankings, regional placement and athletes of the week.
Men's Cross Country
...is ranked No. 22 in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCA) national poll, with 110 points. The Tigers are the only Ivy League team in the national poll.
...is second in the Mid-Atlantic Regional poll
Women's Cross Country
...continues to receive votes in the poll, claiming 18 points
...is fifth in the Mid-Atlantic Regional poll
...Gabi Forrest was named the HepsTrack Female Rookie of the Week, as the top female Ivy runner at the Meet of Champions, finishing third.
The teams will be back in action the first weekend of October, as they head to the Notre Dame Invitational on Friday, Oct. 3 and the Paul Short Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 4.
