| Followers of the Princeton-Penn men's basketball series have seen their share of epic comebacks. And while this one was no 27-point comeback at The Palestra from 16 years ago, Princeton found itself looking at an 0-1 start to Ivy League play if things didn't change fast. Down 15 with less than 14 minutes to go, Princeton went on a 13-3 run over four-plus minutes to pull within five and then closed the gap with less than six minutes to play on the way to a 78-74 win Saturday night in Jadwin Gym. After going 18 of 29 from the field in the first half, Penn kept that pace going by making eight of its first 13 shots after the break on the way to a 60-46 lead with 13 minutes left. From there, Penn made only four buckets the rest of the way, shooting 23.5 percent (4 of 17) over the last 13 minutes. |

Ben Hazel's 3-pointer with 9:25 to play pulled Princeton within 61-56, a key basket in Princeton's comeback from 15-points down. It was Hazel's only field goal of the night as the senior was 4 of 4 from the free-throw line while also helping the Tigers with a game-high three steals. |
