Women's Track & Field Picks Up Four Wins at 2015 Tiger Open

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University women's track & field team returned to action Saturday after a two-week layoff, claiming wins in four events at the 2015 Tiger Open.
For the third time in as many outings, Julia Ratcliffe rose to the top of the podium in the weight throw with a toss of 19.54 (64-01.25). Ratcliffe's winning mark came on her third attempt, beating out runner-up Chioma Onyekwere's first throw of 18.67m. Picking up the win in the pole vault, the Tigers' Allison Harris cleared 3.60m (11-09.75).
Dominating the 500m run, the Orange and Black claimed four of the top five spots. Cecilia Barowski paced the field with a time of 1:13.13. Meghan McMullin and Elisa Steele finished second (1:16.74) and third (1:17.79), respectively, while Rowan's Melirah Searcy was fourth (1:18.81). Emily Broyles rounded out the top five with a time of 1:19.09.
The Tigers' 'D' team edged out the 'A' squad in the distance medley relay. Broyles, Zoe Sims, Ashley Forte, and Kathryn Fluehr posted a time of 11:45.93. Ally Markovich, Quinn Parker, Rachel Skokowski and Megan Curham were second with a time of 11:46.87.
Princeton posted a pair of top-five finishes in the long jump with Sara Ronde taking third (5.65m) and Taylor Morgan tying for fourth (5.52m). Inka Busack was second in the high jump at 1.70m (5-07.00).
Christina Walter and Joanna Anyanwu were second and third in the 60m dash, clocking in at 7.75 and 7.80, respectively. Teju Adewole was fifth in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.01.
In the 800m run, Madison Offstein took fifth with a time of 2:20.89, while Anyanwu and Quinn Parker were fifth (25.88) and seventh (26.04) in the 200m dash. Gina Talt was seventh in the 1000m run (3:04.50), while Melissa Reed (10:14.02) and Jackie Nicholas (10:17.68) were third and fifth in the 3000m run.
