2015 Head of the Charles Schedule
The official racing season may not begin until the spring, but that doesn't make this coming weekend any less special. After all, this is the Head of the Charles.
One of the biggest regattas of the year will also open the fall rowing season for Princeton, which will be well represented on the Charles River. All four of Princeton's programs will be in competition during the two-day event, with the majority of the boats competing on Sunday.
You can find the full racing schedule above, and GoPrincetonTigers.com will have full results following the weekend competition.
The Princeton men's lightweights have particularly enjoyed this weekend over the last two years, as the Tigers have won the men's lightweight championship eight competition in both 2013 and 2014. They will try for a third straight win Sunday at 4:06 pm.
Six minutes later, the Princeton women's lightweight eight will conclude the weekend with their championship race. That boat will try to match the performance of its 2014 fours, which rowed away with gold last year.
The men's championship eights will begin at 2:30 pm Saturday, and the women's championship eights will follow at 2:44 pm.
