Junior Lizzie Bird was named the Suburban Transit GoPrincetonTigers.com Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 18.

Bird led the Tigers at the 2015 Wisconson adidas Invitational on Friday. She was 14th, out of 246 runners, and posted a time of 20:00.8.

Princeton, ranked No. 25 nationally, finished 13th on the Zimmer Championship Course.

A total of 19 ranked teams competed, along with five teams receiving votes and 11 additional squads. The Tigers finished ahead of No. 13 Michigan State, No. 19 North Carolina, No. 20 West Virginia, No. 21 Vanderbilt and Minnesota and William & Mary, who are both tied at No. 23.
