Women's Soccer to Host Boston College in NCAA Tournament's First Round

The Princeton women's soccer team will host an NCAA tournament game for the first time since 2004 when Boston College comes to Roberts Stadium.
The game will start at 7 p.m. Saturday, following the men's team's finale against Yale. The game is a ticketed event, and tickets can be purchased here or by calling 609-258-4TIX (4849). The game will also be streamed on the Ivy League Digital Network free of charge.
The Princeton-Boston College winner will face the winner between USC and Cal State Fullerton on the weekend of Nov. 20-22.
Boston College (11-6-2, 5-3-2 ACC) closed its regular season Nov. 1 with a 2-2 tie against then-No. 3 Florida State and is in the tournament for the first time since 2013, when the Eagles advanced to the national quarterfinals before a loss to Florida State.
• Princeton (13-3-1, 6-0-1 Ivy) was ranked No. 24 in the nation in the NSCAA poll, which comes out Tuesdays.
• The Tigers were ranked 34th in Monday's NCAA RPI.
• Top Drawer Soccer put Princeton in its national top 25 for the first time all season as the Tigers entered Monday's poll at No. 22.
• The NCAA tournament appearance will be Princeton's first since 2012 and 11th all-time.
• The Tigers entered the weekend as the only team in Division I to win all of its road games, but after the tie at Penn, Princeton remains one of four teams in the nation to finish the regular season unbeaten on the road. The other three are Virginia, West Virginia and Texas Tech.
