Women's Track & Field Wins Three Events at Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. – The women's track & field team captured victories in three events as it played host to the Princeton Invitational at Jadwin Gymnasium.
Julia Ratcliffe picked up the Tigers' first win of the day with the top mark in the weight throw. Winning the event with a toss of 19.63m (64-05.00) on her second attempt, Ratcliffe's best throw was a meter better than her closest competitor. Kennedy O'Dell took fourth at 15.79m (51-09.75).
Allison Harris rose to the top of the podium in the pole vault, clearing 3.70m (12-01.50). Brittany Henderson was fifth at 3.30m (10-10.00). Sydney Hausman came in fourth in the triple jump at 10.91m (35-09.50), while Taylor Morgan was Princeton's top finisher in the long jump, placing sixth at 5.32m (17-05.50).
In the running events, Rachael Chacko paced a strong showing for the Tigers in the 800m, taking first with a time of 2:15.64. Rachel Skokowski was third (2:17.30), while Melinda Renuart placed fourth (2:19.22).
Sara Ronde was fifth in the 60m dash with a time of 7.92, while Kerry Krause was sixth in the 60m hurdles, clocking in at 9.23. Gina Talt finished sixth in the mile run with a time of 5:12.04, while Ashley Reed was eighth in the 400m dash at 1:01.21. Quinn Parker and Joanna Anyanwu were fifth (25.70) and sixth (25.88) in the 200m, respectively.
Competing on her own at Notre Dame's Alex Wilson Invitational, Cecilia Barowski was the runner-up in the 800m run with a time of 2:05.00. Barowski's time is currently the ninth-best mark in the country and the fifth fastest in Ivy League history.
