Knotted at 10-10 at the end of regulation, Camille Hooks gave the Tigers a one-goal edge with a score with 1:14 left in the first extra session. After Indiana tied it early in the second overtime, Emily Smith put the Tigers ahead with 48 seconds left in the second OT.
After tying it at 12-12 with 17 seconds left in the second overtime, the Hoosiers pulled ahead for good, netting the game winner with 16 seconds remaining in the sudden victory period.
Ashley Hatcher paced the Tigers with four goals, while Chelsea Johnson, Pippa Temple and Emily Smith each picked up a pair of scores. Haley Wan and Jessie Holechek each dished out three assists, with Wan also nabbing three steals. Morgan Hallock drew four ejections.
Finishing with 12 saves, Ashleigh Johnson made two saves in the first quarter before making six stops in the second. Making two more saves in the third, she had a save in the fourth frame and first overtime.
The Tigers return to action on Saturday, Apr. 11 against No. 15 Michigan.
