Women's Cross Country Race Meet of Champions on Saturday

PRINCETON, N.J. (9/18/15) - The Princeton women's cross country team will send a select group of runners to compete at the 21st Annual Brother Doyle Meet of Champions in Van Cortlandt Park this weekend. The event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 19 and is hosted by Iona College.
The women's 6k race will begin at 9:20 a.m.
Princeton has competed in the Meet of Champions six times. The Tigers won the meet in 2003, finished fifth in both 2005 and 1996, seventh in 1999 and 13th in 2000. Last year the freshmen represented Princeton and took third in the meet, led by Gabi Forest and Natalie Rathjen who took third and fourth, overall.
The Tigers are ranked 29th in this week's USTFCCCA national poll.
