Tigers Advance on Second Day at ITA Regional

Four of the six Tigers in the singles draw and two of the Princeton men's tennis team's three doubles pairs were in action Friday on the first day of main-draw play at the ITA Northeast Regional hosted by Penn.
Princeton took three of the four singles matches and split the two doubles contests, with Payton Holden winning in both. Davey Roberts and Jimmy Wasserman also had singles wins, and Holden teamed up with Tom Colautti for the doubles victory.
Saturday will feature the second round of doubles, beginning at 8 a.m., followed by two rounds of main-draw and consolation singles. Colautti and Alex Day, who had first-round byes in the main singles draw, and Day and Luke Gamble, who had a doubles first-round bye, will start play Saturday.
