Markovich Leads Team as Tigers Place Sixth at Heps

Senior Alex Markovich finished eighth overall as the Princeton women's cross country team placed sixth at Saturday morning's Ivy League Heptagonals at West Windsor Fields.
Harvard won the event 33-69 over runner-up Yale with Crimson junior Courtney Smith winning the individual title in 20:19, 12 seconds faster than Penn's Ashley Montgomery. Markovich finished in 20:46.
Princeton's results and team standings are below, and complete results are available here. The Tigers will head next to Penn State for the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional on Nov. 11.
