Abby Givens scored Princeton's first goal in a 2-0 win over Dartmouth and has earned the honor of Ivy League Rookie of the Week.
It's the second such honor of the year for Princeton, along with goalkeeper Natalie Grossi's on Sept. 5, and first for Givens, who has scored in each of Princeton's first two Ivy League games along with the Monmouth game on Sept. 11, giving her three goals in the team's last five contests. Givens' three goals tie her for third on the team alongside sophomore Mimi Asom and behind only senior Tyler Lussi, with nine.
Givens and the Tigers will head to Lehigh Tuesday for the team's penultimate non-league contest before returning to Ivy League play Saturday at home against Brown at 4 p.m.
