Lundy Finishes 94th at NCAA Championships

In his first NCAA Cross Country Championships, freshman Conor Lundy finished in the top half on the LaVern Gibson course in Terre Haute, Ind. Lundy posted a time of 30:49.9 to finish 94th in just his second official 10k cross country race.
Lundy's finish was the best by at Tiger at the NCAAs since Tyler Udland was 47th in 2013.
A native of Tuckahoe, N.Y., Lundy was third at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional at Penn State to add all-region status to his All-Ivy League honors after taking third at Ivy Heps.
Northern Arizona won the men's title with 125 points, while Villanova's Patrick Tiernan dethroned Edward Cheserek for the title. The three-time reigning champion out of Oregon finished third overall.
