Lussi, McDonough Named NSCAA All-Region Honorees
November 29, 2016 | Women's Soccer
Seniors Tyler Lussi and Jesse McDonough were named NSCAA All-Mid-Atlantic Region honorees, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America has announced.Â
Lussi is a first-team all-region pick, and McDonough is on the second team. The honors are voted on by the region's coaches.
Both players were first-team All-Ivy League honorees this fall. It is the third NSCAA All-Region honor for Lussi, who was a first-teamer and a second-team All-America last year and a second-team all-region in 2014, and the first NSCAA honor for McDonough.
Lussi closed her career with a program-record 53 goals and 122 points, of which 10 and 24 came this season. McDonough helped lead a defense that allowed just 16 goals and shut out five opponents.
