Lussi Earns Career's Second All-America Honor

For the second consecutive season, senior Tyler Lussi has been named an All-America, the National Soccer Coaches Association of America has announced.Â
Lussi earned third-team recognition a year after she was a second-team honoree. The award comes just after she earned her third consecutive All-Mid-Atlantic Region recognition, having been named to the first team each of the last two seasons.Â
It is the 16th time a Princeton player has earned All-America honors, and it is the first time in back-to-back seasons since Esmeralda Negron '05 earned third-team recognition in 2003 and first-team honors in 2004 alongside Diana Matheson '08, who was a first-team honoree in '04. Negron is also the last Tiger to earn two All-America honors, making Lussi the fifth Princeton player to be a multi-time All-America honoree along with Kelly O'Dell '84, Lynette Prescott '85 and Linda DeBoer '86.
Lussi leaves Princeton after having set the program record with 53 goals and 122 points. She scored 10 goals and had 24 points in her final campaign.
