Men's Hoops in Hawaii: Tigers Tour U.S. Navy Past and Present

Sunday was the Princeton men's basketball team's first full day in Hawaii ahead of the Pearl Harbor Invitational, and part of the day sent Princeton to Pearl Harbor to tour the past and present of the U.S. Navy.
After arriving in Honolulu Saturday afternoon, the Tigers settled in for dinner and rest with practice on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam set for Sunday morning. After practice, the Tigers were treated to a welcome reception put on by the Princeton Club of Hawaii and the Princeton Varsity Club before heading out on a tour of the USS Arizona memorial with the other three Pearl Harbor Invitational teams: Seton Hall, California and Hawai'i.
Following the Arizona memorial tour, Princeton headed to the USS John C. Stennis, an active aircraft carrier, for a reception put on by Fox Sports, which is televising the Pearl Harbor Invitational, and a tour of the Stennis.Â

Monday, Princeton will visit with servicemembers and have their first practice at Bloch Arena, site of the Pearl Harbor Invitational, before enjoying dinner in Waikiki. The first of two doubleheaders is set for Tuesday, with Princeton and Cal tipping off at 2 p.m. HT/7 p.m. ET on FS1.
