Men's Track & Field Heads Back to Ocean Breeze for Villanova Invite

PRINCETON, N.J. (2/4/16) - After a monster win at the annual HYP meet last weekend, the Princeton men's track & field team makes a return visit to Ocean Breeze Park for the Villanova Invitational while a select number of Tigers will head to the Bronx for The Armory Invitational.

The meet begins with the weight throw at 4 p.m., with Adam Kelly, Vic Youg and Gabe Arcaro throwing. The first race will be the 60-meter hurdle prelims featuring Spencer Long should kick off the track events around 4:30 p.m.

Luke Brahm and Josh Ingalls will run in the 800 invitational (event 41) slated to being at 1:50 p.m. Noah Kaupilla will take on the mile invtiational (event 45) at 2:19 p.m. on Saturday.
LAST TIME OUT
Princeton won its 25th consecutive HYP title, besting Harvard and Yale by a score of 112-35-33.
Wins came in 13 of 17 events, including: Charles Volker (60), Carrington Akosa (200), Ray Mennin (400), Josh Ingalls (500), Luke Brahm (800), Garrett O'Toole (1,000), Noah Kauppila (mile), Jeremy Spiezio (3k), Xavier Bledsoe (high jump), Jake Scinto (long jump), Stefan Amokwandoh (triple jump) Christopher Cook (shot put), Adam Kelly (weight throw) and the 4x800 of Eric Schulz, O'Toole, Kauppila and Ingalls.
