Mennin Posts PR in 400 at Florida Relays

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (4/1/16) - Junior Ray Mennin's 10th-place finish in the men's 400 highlighted Day 1 of the Pepsi Florida Relays for the Princeton men's track & field team.
Mennin clocked a PR for the second straight meet and posted a time of 47.03 to take second in heat 6. Sophomore Joshua Freeman was sixh in heat 4 and 35th overall at 48.24.
Senior Luke Brahm and sophomore Josh Ingalls both ran in the 800 meters. Brahm ran 1:51.84 to take seventh in heat 4 and 40th overall, while Ingalls ran 1:53.72 for ninth in heat 4 and 52nd overall.
Senior captain Greg Caldwell was fourth in heat 7 of the 110-meter hurdles. His time of 14.55 placed him 43rd overall. In the intermediate hurdles, senior Jordan Myers clocked 54.24 to take fourth in his heat and 38th overall.
Senior Daniel McCord and junior Jabari Johnson were joined by Freeman and Mennin to make up the 4x400 relay. The Tigers clocked 3:11.92 to finish 15th.
In the field events, a second-place finish by Jared Bell in the discus was the spotlight. He threw to a distance of 52.26 (171-5) on his first attempt.
Freshman Adam Kelly had his best throw of the season in the hammer, reaching 64.86 (212-9) to finished 12th overall.
