PRINCETON, N.J. (5/13/16) - Senior Eddie Owens won the steeplechase and was thisclose to a personal best time as Princeton began the IC4A Track & Field Championship at Weaver Stadium.

Owens clocked 8:46.47, sixth-hundreths of a second off his PR but a season-best time for the senior and one of the top-10 times in the East Region.

Freshman Jeremy Spiezio was fourth in the 5k with time of 14:18.06, the second fastest time he has run this season.

Princeton is in second place with 15 points after three scored events. Iona is in first place with 35 points, while Columbia is third with 14.
