Princeton Announces Women's Hockey 2016-17 Schedule

The Princeton women's hockey team will face four non-conference opponents in addition to its 22-game ECAC Hockey conference schedule.

Highlighting the non-conference slate in a pair of games against Mercyhurst and a single game against Penn State in December at Hobey Baker Rink.

The Tigers open the season with a pair of games at Providence on Oct. 25-26. It will be the first meetings between the two former conference opponents since 2010. The squad will also play a pair of games at Boston University in November.

Princeton opens the ECAC and Ivy League season on the road for the fourth straight year, this time at Brown and Yale on Oct. 28-29. The home opener is the following weekend, Nov. 4-5 against St. Lawrence and Clarkson.

One interesting note about this season are the game times for league contests. Friday night games will be at 6 p.m., and Saturday afternoon games are at 3 p.m. (please check schedule for any changes).

The Tigers close out the regular season hosting Union and Rensselaer on Feb. 17-18.

The top eight in the ECAC will compete in the ECAC Quarterfinals on Feb. 24-26. The ECAC Championship is the following weekend March 5 & 6.
