PRINCETON, N.J. (9/22/16) - The Princeton men's soccer team faces Fairleigh Dickinson on Saturday, Sept. 24 in a 7 p.m., game.
The Tigers are coming off of a 2-0 shutout of Drexel on Tuesday, which extends their win streak to three straight. Overall the squad is 3-2. Benjamin Martin, the Ivy League Player and Rookie of the Week, leads the team in scoring with two goals and one assist for five points. Senior Greg Seifert, who has played all over the field this year, has net two goals. Senior Vikram Pothuri, junior Daniel Bowkett, sophomore Henry Martin and junior Harry Heffernan all have three points with Bowkett putting up a team best three assists. Senior Josh Haberman owns every decision in goal and sports a 1.20 goals against average and a .739 save percentage, stopping 17 of 23 shots he has faced.

Princeton leads the all-time series 15-8-2 since the teams first met in 1987. Last year's 4-1 Princeton victory marked the 150th career win for head coach Jim Barlow, as three different seniors scored in the victory.

FDU is 2-5 and lost its last two contests. Six of the teams' games have been one-goal decisions, the exception being a 4-0 shutout of Howard. Enver Caymaz has scored two goals and one assist in five games to lead the Knights in scoring. Javen Palmer adds two goals. Casey Abelein has chipped in two assists, while Ahu Obhakan and Wojciech Piwowarczyk have tallied one goal each. The Knights utilize a two-goalie system with Sebastian Ferreira and Julian Murillo Toro splitting time and each owning one win. Ferreira has the better numbers with a 0.75 GAA and an .870 save percentage with 20 saves on 23 shots. Toro has a 1.00 GAA and a .727 save percentage with eight saves on 11 shots.
